oh hi!

I’m an Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker who works locally in the San Francisco Bay Area and Reno, Nevada.

I both direct and edit, with extensive experience interviewing and directing profile pieces on artists and entrepreneurs. Over the past decade+, I’ve collaborated with some of my favorite art orgs/museums like Creative Time, SFJAZZ, NPR Music, the deYoung Museum and Atlas Obscura. For more journalistic pursuits, I’ve directed films for outlets like The Center for Investigative Reporting, CBS, AP, Slate and NPR. My commercial clients include Rivian, Audible UK, Google.org, Pinterest, Dropbox, Lyft, and Oatly.

Starting in 2020, I began working closely with the National Endowment of the Arts to direct, edit and produce short documentaries about distinguished American folk artists. In four years, the collection has grown to 47 films featuring artists from 26 different states/territories. Check out the project here.
